Twenty-seven years of milling rice
We have been milling rice for 27 years. Today the mill produces around 75 MT of finished rice per day, focused on steam Sona Masoori.
SN Trading Pvt Ltd brings that production directly to international buyers. The mill team handles production; our Jaipur office handles buyer communication and export coordination.
Processing
How our steam Sona Masoori is made
Paddy selection
Sona Masoori paddy is selected and cleaned before processing.
Steaming
The paddy is steamed, which firms the grain and reduces breakage during milling.
Drying
Steamed paddy is dried to bring moisture down to the specified level (at or below 13%).
Hulling & polishing
Husk and bran are removed and the grain is polished.
Sortex & grading
Colour sorters remove discoloured grains and foreign matter; rice is graded to export quality.
Packing
Rice is packed to the buyer's specification and prepared for dispatch.
Quality control
What we check
- Broken grains kept under 5%
- Moisture at or below 13%
- Foreign matter and damaged/discoloured grains under 2%
- Uniform grain length of 5.0 to 5.2 mm
- 100% Sortex colour-sorted
